Status Report for Weeks 1 & 2

This being this first blog post for the project, it makes sense to do some introductions. The members of Team 3 are Stefano Sansone, Matt Smicinski, Brian Besmanoff and Ben Kantor. The project we have decided to work on this semester is a web application targeted towards concerned citizens who want to contribute to solving environmental problems. Our application will allow users to post and plan environmental cleanup projects in their local communities. Once a project is posted, other users of the site can volunteer to work on said project.

Other than selecting a project, we mainly worked on the initial organizational effort associated with any new project such as establishing weekly meeting times and sharing contact information.

  • 08/27/14 - The group collaboratively brainstormed three project proposals (30 minutes).
